As more and more hard-working men and women across the world wake up to the reality that, as far as their financial security and the well-being of their families are concerned, just earning an income from a job and depending on that income to comfortably take care of their needs now and after retirement, is as safe and secure as holding a ticking time bomb in our hands and closing our eyes and simply wish really, really hard that it won’t blow up.
Thousands of men and women with big dreams and aspirations are now running to start their own home-based businesses using the power and reach of the Internet because it offers the opportunity to:
- Start a business with very little risk because of the low cost of entry;
- Run their business during their free time without interfering with their job of profession;
- Earn extra income to help cover their living expenses, pay off their debt faster, save more for retirement and/or their children’s college education, take nicer and more frequent vacations and some even replace their income from their job.
Unfortunately, the statistics show that many of them fail, but the good news is that many of those who have succeeded have left their clues to their success.
Some of the principles that our team has learned to increase our chances of success in our business and helping our new Team Members get started right include:
- Have a crystal clear vision and inspiring goals of where we want to go and what we want to achieve with our business that is stronger than any of the obstacles and challenges that will undoubtedly get in our way, so that we are able to overcome them;
- Partner with a solid company that provides high quality products that many people want to buy on a regular basis. A company of high integrity that will always stand behind its Representatives as together they serve a loyal customer base;
- Be part of a strong Team with individuals that truly care about the success of everyone in it, where each one brings something unique to help the others as he or she also receives the support they need to flourish.
- Develop a solid plan of action that will get us closer and closer to our dreams as we take action and implement it;
- Acquire the skills that are essential to our success and not just leave it to “good luck” or wishful thinking. We are talking about crucial skills such as Marketing, promotion, communication and leadership;
- Use effective and efficient systems and tools that can help us do our work with excellence and achieve the best results possible in the shortest amount of time;
- Be persistent, consistent, never give up, never give in and never quit! When you come across adversity and challenges (and you will), find a way to go around it, over it, beside it or through it. But, whatever you do, never, ever, ever quit! The only way you can fail is if you quit. When you face challenges, look at them as opportunities to learn something new and events to help you grow stronger. Rely on your family, your Team and those who care about you and draw from their wisdom and support.
